While you can undoubtedly learn a lot of things by popping down to your local Farmer's Market, or conscious cafe, there's a lot more to learn from the many, many great minds and educators that share their knowledge with everyone online - particularly on Twitter.

From prolific bloggers sharing amazing recipes, to teachers of the best methods to regain your health, to spiritual teachers of the highest truths, there are a lot of distinct voices discussing what actually works to create a healthy life and environment, and relaying their unique perspectives about healing, wellness, healthy eating, and lifestyle choices.

 

With the tonnes of people you could potentially follow, how do you pick the ones that will add the most value to your Twitter stream?

We came up with our Top 5 countdown list of the most insightful health and wellness insiders you should follow on Twitter (some of which may surprise you)! And... Here it is!

 

5. For Fitness, Inspiration, and Healthy Habits!

Sam Ozkural is one of if not THE best people on Twitter and YouTube to really inspire and motivate people to become the best versions of themselves. Regularly (every Monday and Wednesday) she posts insightful tips, workouts and inspiration to her growing community of health-conscious people - as well as NEED TO KNOW info (like how to get a great booty and abs!) what it's like being a new Vegan (most recently) and prep tips for easy, healthy meals on the go for workouts, a more healthy lifestyle, and fitness programs and challenges she creates for herself. Which of course she then nails 100%!

Teal pulls absolutely no punches when it comes to truth-telling - as difficult or as challenging as this may be to hear for many people. She focuses on the actual issues in life, that people have had to endure (most of the time against their will) - and focuses her mission on teaching methods, techniques and modalities to heal from both the physical, but primarily, the spiritual perspective. 

For people not willing or not ready to open up to the actual facts of how their life has gone up to the moment when they discover her, it can be quite an unsettling experience viewing the videos Teal creates, or attending the workshops that she hosts around the globe. However her focus on the actual "capital T" Truth, the real reasons behind the reality that is showing up for you daily, and the unresolved trauma from your past is one of the main reasons she is one of our favorite healing, wellness, AND healthy eating people to follow!

 

3. For Positivity, Mindset, and Keeping it Real In a Crazy World!

Calum Best is one of our favourites when it comes to living the high life "with balance". He's perhaps the greatest example of how to enjoy life, both from a high-flying, fun, party perspective and also a grounded, meditative, calm yogic perspective. He regularly interacts with his followers on Twitter (and Instagram), he treats people with the respect they deserve, and also remains grounded whilst this crazy world and everyone around is seeking to distract and drag him in all manner of different directions!

He "gets' manifestation, the power of gratitude, kindness, and being humble - and it comes across and rubs off on his followers too. Realising the importance of being supportive of people experiencing mental health issues is another great reason he makes the list.

 

2. For 'The Vegan Challenge', Spiritual Advice, and Smiling!

If you EVER feel a little bit 'off', down, or just need a tiny pick-me-up from smiling eyes, and great insightful commentary into the ways of the World, Ralph Smart is your man! 

From 'The Cat Down The Road' to sucking on those over-sized succulent grapes in your mouth (just check his feed and you'll understand!), Ralph teaches a whole bunch of eye-opening and sometimes eye-watering aspects that make people smile, help raise your vibration, and just make your day go a little bit better...

Not to mention The 7-Day Vegan Challenge, a great way to start shifting up your diet into a more holistic easy way of eating. Can I Get a Helllllooo There! 😊

 

And Number 1... (drum roll please....!)

1. For Incredible Recipes - particularly for youngsters: 

Katie Wellness Mama comes at Number 1 of our list, for the incredible recipes and practical wellness advice that she teaches on her blog, WellnessMama.com.

Take for example, these elderberry marshmallows for her children, that she cooks up into a favorite treat for them, with a kick: They boost the immune system! What a legend, what a great way to use cooking knowledge to help your children - and many other family's children - grow into strong, healthy youngsters and adults, as we teach the coming generations that you can have it all, all the time (you just need the correct healthy, alternative recipes, that feed rather than deplete our babies' systems!).

 

Katie has also recently highlighted the connection between cellular strength and health (a particular favourite topic of ours), and she continues to spread the word about healing at a cellular level, different types of fasting, and other incredible techniques.

For us, she's Number 1!
